The location was perfect, with easy access to local shops and beautiful countryside. The house itself was spacious, spotlessly clean, and extremely pet-friendly. It was ideal for our multi-generational family, including our little dog. The well-stocked kitchen had everything we needed, and the garden was a great space for the children to play and for a sunny BBQ. The hosts had thought of everything, providing games for all ages and a wide range of kitchen utensils. The town and surrounding area had so much to offer, and we can't wait to come back and explore further. we highly recommend River House for a wonderful family getaway.

The house was perfect for our family getaway. With three spacious bedrooms and a well-equipped kitchen, we had everything we needed. The beds were incredibly comfortable and the house was spotlessly clean. The location was fantastic, with a beautiful river walk just minutes away. Additionally, the owner was extremely helpful and provided clear and fast communication throughout our stay.
One downside was the difficulty in finding parking in Dunkeld, especially on weekends. This may pose a problem for individuals with mobility issues or those who struggle with walking.

The kitchen was fully equipped with an electric kettle and cookware/ kitchen utensils, perfect for our needs. The cleanliness of the house was exceptional and it truly felt like a home away from home. We loved the lovely touch of the welcome basket in the well-organized kitchen. The spaciousness of the house was ideal for our family of 6, including our furry friend who was welcome here. The comfortable beds ensured a great night's sleep and the quiet area made it even more relaxing. The fully fenced garden with a fire pit was a fantastic addition, perfect for outdoor dining. The nearby river provided amazing walks and there were so many activities to do in the surrounding area, like hiking, cycling, canoeing, fishing. Our stay at River House was amazing! The location was perfect, with local shops and beautiful countryside just a short walk away. We loved how pet-friendly the house was, making it easy to bring our furry friend along. The house itself was spacious and well-stocked, especially the kitchen. We had everything we needed to prepare meals for our family of six. The welcome basket was a lovely touch and made us feel right at home. Plus, our host went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and satisfaction. we had a fantastic time and would definitely return to explore more of the local area.
The only minor drawbacks were the two single mattresses, which were not the most comfortable for adults. We also experienced some issues with slow draining in the bathroom sink and no hot water on the morning of our departure.

I loved having complimentary WiFi and private parking available at my disposal, and the fact that I could pretend to be a professional skier by enjoying the nearby skiing. The towels were a great addition, I always feel so fancy when there are towels provided.
Oh, how I hate having a garden and free private parking. It's just so inconvenient and bothersome, who needs such luxuries anyways?
